News of 2006
Hello again,
Firstly I’d like to thank all of you who have contacted me through the website and have complimented me on both the site and my work with Corneille. I had no idea that there were so many of you out there ! I will try to update the site a little more frequently and I will also update the site with new photos, new music, and hopefully a video section in the near future.
As of yet, 2006 has been great. The 6 shows that we did at the Olympia in Paris were amazing and it was great for the band to be able to play six nights in a row at the same venue (and what a venue !). We played better each night, I thought. And as a bonus, we were fortunate enough to have Lokua Kanza opening up the show. I have put up a few photos of our week there on the site.
After the dates at the Olympia, Corneille and I stayed in Paris to do some promo gigs for the album, the new single, and of course, the upcoming tour. The promo was a little bit different because we did a lot of radio stations outside of Paris and we got to visit some nice cities in the process.
The next step is to relax at home for a week and then we all leave to start the tour at the end of February. We are all looking forward to playing the concerts and to having great experiences onstage and on the road. The tour in Europe will last almost two months and then we’ll do another month in Quebec in May.
In other news, I was featured in the February edition of the French guitar magazine, LE GUITARISTE. They did a three-page interview with me. I will do more work with them in the future, including filming some video lessons that they will include in future magazines.
So, that’s it for now. We’ll hopefully see each other at the concerts.
Andy
